OUR ROAD TO SUSTAINABILITY

Travel is great, but it can be even better—for you and the planet. The key is to lessen its environmental impact. It’s no small task, but we’re striving to make positive contributions by reducing our carbon footprint and enhancing the local communities and environments around us. Here’s how we’re taking the initiative to become more sustainable:

Sustainable Stays:

We’re examining the full range of our operations and continue to search for more—and better—ways to reduce our greenhouse gas emissions and/or participate in the circular economy. Two major sustainable changes many of our hotels have made so far are switching to cleaner energy sources and eliminating single-use plastics from your stay.

Responsible Food Cycle:

Good food is best when it’s truly good. From sourcing all the way through to lights out at our restaurants each night, our aims are to protect biodiversity, minimise environmental impact and reduce food waste. We also maintain fair partnerships with local farmers and suppliers and support respectful conditions for their animals.

Local Support:

The comfort of our home is central to who we are. Therefore, protecting this for our hosts in their homes is a top priority. We endeavour to enrich our host communities and ecosystems in the long run, according to their needs.
